Which image formats are supported?
PNG, JPG, JPEG, and WEBP, up to 10 MB per image. One image makes one mind map.
Does it work on handwritten notes or sketches?
No. OCR is tuned for printed and on-screen text: screenshots, slides, scanned pages, and mind map images exported from other apps. Handwriting and hand-drawn sketches are not supported. If fewer than about 10 characters of readable text are found, the task fails and the held credit is returned.
Is image to mind map free?
Yes, image input is included in the Free plan. You need a free account, since image upload is not part of the no-sign-up trial. Signing up adds 10 credits, and each image uses at least 1.
Can I convert a mind map screenshot from another app?
Yes, that is the most common use: upload a screenshot exported from XMind, MindMeister, or a slide, and MindLM rebuilds it as an editable map. Radial or tree layouts with clear text recognize best.
How long does it take?
